Sigma Prep LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Sigma Prep. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text. If you sign in with Google instead, we receive your name and email address from Google and no password.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.
Usage Data
We collect data about how you use the Service, including videos watched, practice quiz scores, and progress metrics. This data is used to provide personalized learning features and track your progress.
Parent Progress Links
If a student adds a parent's email address, we store it and email the parent a private link to view that student's progress.
Free Worksheets and Formula Sheet
The free math worksheets and the SAT Math formula sheet need no account, and we do not collect personal information to give them to you.
Sigma Prep Worksheets in ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants
When you use our plugin in ChatGPT, we receive the worksheet request itself (the topic, level and number of problems) and an anonymous user ID that ChatGPT provides. We use the ID only to limit how many worksheets one person can make in an hour, and we keep it no longer than that hour. ChatGPT may also send a general language and location hint (such as city or country), which we do not use or store. We do not receive your name, email address or the rest of your conversation. We do not share or sell any of this; it is kept only in our own systems, which our hosting and database providers run for us. You can stop sending us anything at any time by disconnecting the plugin in ChatGPT's settings. When you use our worksheet connector from Claude or another AI assistant, we receive the same worksheet request and the network (IP) address the request comes from. We use the address only to limit how many worksheets can be made from one place in an hour, and we keep it no longer than that hour. We do not receive your name, email address or the rest of your conversation. You can stop at any time by removing the connector in your assistant's settings.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Google Analytics, listed in section 4, also sets its own cookies to measure visits, and YouTube may set cookies when you play an embedded video. We do not sell this information. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, and the Service will still work.

The Service is intended for students preparing for the SAT. If you are under 13 years of age, you must have a parent or guardian's consent to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
